What You’ll Learn
During your private boat driving lessons, you’ll practice real-world skills on the water, including steering and throttle control, slow-speed maneuvering, docking and departing, navigation, rules of the water, anchoring, boat safety, emergency procedures and confident everyday boat handling.

Train on Your Own Boat
All driving sessions are conducted on your own boat so you can learn exactly how your vessel responds. Every boat handles differently, so we focus on your specific controls, handling characteristics and equipment to build real confidence on the water.
What to Bring
Please ensure your boat is fully fueled, properly equipped and in good working order. Bring your required safety gear, any existing boater education card, and anything you’d normally have on board for a typical outing. We’ll review your setup together at the dock before heading out.

No, all hands-on navigation and handling instruction takes place directly on your own personal boat to maximize relevant familiarization.
Where exactly do lessons happen?
We travel directly to your preferred launch ramp or marina on Your Lake for seamless local access.
Can I bring guests or family members?
Yes! Private lessons allow you to learn solo or include immediate family members to guarantee everyone is safety-certified on the water. If they are being trained as well, the fee is $199/student.
