Legal Requirements & Regulations
Students will master local and federal laws governing professional charter operations, including licensing mandates, vessel inspection standards, and mandatory documentation for commercial boating.
Advanced Passenger Safety
Comprehensive training on passenger briefing protocols, emergency evacuation procedures, and on-board safety management systems to ensure a secure environment for all charter guests.
Vessel Management & Operations
Learn the logistical side of running a charter, including vessel maintenance schedules, fuel management, weather routing, and professional communication with maritime authorities and charter company managers.
Prerequisites & Medical
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age. A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all certifications. Students must pass a basic maritime medical fitness screening, including vision and hearing tests, performed by a licensed physician within the last 12 months.
Mandatory Documentation
You must have a state boating license. If you are driving a charter boat over 30 foot please have your USCG or PBO license. If you have not gotten one of those we can help and offer expert advice on how to acheive one of these licenses.
